Does IU have a summer program that allows a transfer to apply to Kelley to begin during the Fall semester?

You have to apply to Indiana University directly. You only apply to Kelley after being accepted to the University. The deadline for Fall acceptance is to apply by April 1st, and the deadline for Spring acceptance is something like October 1st. You have to take a bunch of required courses to apply (English Comp, then 3 out of the 4 following courses: Survey of Calculus, Finite Math, Into to Management, and The Computer in Business. Then you have to have taken at least 26 credits of courses overall.

P.S. There are some people that get in directly to Kelley without applying--but that's only for freshmen and only if you have the necessary requirements (3.5 UW GPA or 1280 SAT score)--and they are really strict on the SAT score--my son had a 1260 and was not offered direct admit. He appealed (pointing out that 20 points was one to two questions on the SAT test) and they turned him down. He pointed out that he was 3.5 W GPA and they said, "That's nice, but it doesn't meet the guidelines for direct admit status". Also, I see that the SAT score has risen to 1300 (30 ACT) this year--and may go higher next year. Here's the link:

Anyway, my son has a 3.52 UW GPA at IU after one semester, so he'll be applying to Kelley once he finishes the necessary prerequisities.

Oooh I see. I guess I have to apply to Kelly for the Spring term should I make IU. Thanks Calcruzer for your informative reply!
