I was accepted to IUB, but I knew I would not be directly admitted into the business school because my GPA is too low. I go to an extremely difficult boarding school, and a 3.7 is extremely difficult to attain. My 1600 SAT composite is 1300, above the required, but my GPA is around. a 3.2. Granted my Freshman and sophomore hovered around 3.0, and my Junior year I had a 3.67. Does anyone realistically see the admissions committee granting my petition?

There is nothing more I can do extracurricularly: president of the volunteering club, yearbook editor in chief, and over 500 hours of community service.

Anyone want to give their opinion? And if anyone has submitted a petition feel free to add your stats and results (or pending)

I'm trying to move quick because I realized that the petition deadline is tomorrow.

How exactly did you get access to the petition? I’m also interested in petitioning for direct admittance to Kelley but the website shows that the deadline to submit was Dec. 4 even though I just got my acceptance to IU a few days ago.

Yeah, the deadline passed. I don’t think you can petition any longer. If you applied Priority (Nov 1) I think you would’ve gotten a decision by then. What date did you submit your application?

I submitted my application well before Nov 1, but it took about 5 weeks for me to get my decision. Called the admissions office and they said I still could’ve done the petition even though I hadn’t received a decision yet, kinda frustrating that I didnt…
