Just payed my tuition deposit and can't wait to go! But I have some questions about the two Kellogg certificate programs. I will be going to be attending Weinberg and plan to possibly either double major in biological sciences and Econ or major in bio and do one of the certificate programs. First, what is it possible to major and bio and do a Kellogg certificate? If so, what's the difference between a certificate and a bachelors degree. What are the advantages and disadvantages of a certificaepte versuses a bachelors in say Econ, specifically when being recruited for jobs and later when possibly applying to b school or looking to move up the ladder? Thanks!

You have to apply in your sophomore year to get into the Kellogg Certificate program. It’s not something you can just choose to get into. You would have your own major, mostly econ or industrial engineering, and this would be an addition to your course of study…

kellogg cert has 7 or 8 pre-req courses; double-majoring on top of that is not easy but doable in many cases. but when one of the majors is bio though, it may be tough since bio has basic science sequence and labs…etc. does it require physics and chemistry too? you have quite a bit of research to do.

Yeah, what Sam said.

Doable but definitely not easy because of the number of pre-reqs.
