Kenan Community?

Hi!

I have been accepted into Kenan Community's WELL program and before I accept I was wondering if I could get any opinions from current students. I know most freshman will be on south campus does anyone know what is like being a freshman on north campus? Also Kenan Community is on the very north side of campus does that ever seem to be a henderance to students who live there socially?

Is it true that Kenan community is the nice dorm community on campus?

Thanks!

I lived in Kenan community my freshman and sophomore year and ABSOLUTELY loved it. In my opinion there is no better community on campus - some people like old west and old east, but the bus is even closer in kenan and it feels more residential to me.

I got an excellent freshman experience. Oftentimes my friends on South would come up to hang out in my dorm before going out on the weekends, because it had actual painted walls, hard wood floors, was huge, etc. Do it. DO IT.

Thanks that is great to hear. I’ve actually already accepted so you can count on me being on the 3rd floor of McIvers. ; )

What is the “WELL program”?

It is a living-learning community -
