Hi,

I have been accepted into UNC as a CAS Econ major, and I am planning to apply for Kenan-Flagler. I understand that transfer admission is very difficult, but I would like to get chanced. Any advice is appreciated!

GPA: I'm hoping will be above 3.5. I'm coming from an AACSB accredited business program.
Prereqs: All complete or in progress. I'm taking ECON 410 and some type of math in the Fall (I have credit for busines calc, but I think I am required to take a math course at UNC?)
Work Experience: Internships and summer job
-Lifeguard/Swim Coach for 3 years of high school.
-Summer prior to college, internship at marketing department of Grand Prix company.
-Last summer, internship at Manhattan based High Frequency Trading conference firm.
-Currently in Tokyo working a financial analyst type internship at a Telecom company. Also shadowing a Goldman Sachs VP a few days a week.
SAT: Not that great, I don't even remember what my scores were - are they required?
LORs: I would like to submit employer recs, but I read that they do not accept them. Does anyone know if this is true?
ECs: At previous university, leadership position at business club, some community service, club lacrosse team. I plan to get involved at UNC.
