I've been assigned to an economy triple at kennedy. can someone tell me about kennedy and how different an economy triple is from other rooms?

The economy triple in kennedy is large, and has a private bathroom.

I lived there freshman year in a 5 person suite (I had an economy triple, connected to a common room & bathroom, shared with a double) and we had an awesome time. Definitely a good place to be.

sounds fun if you end up friends with the other 4 people, otherwise might not be so great haha

any info on kennedy hall? all freshman? are there honors students there traditionally? are there honors freshman there traditionally?

is it any good?

+1 for Kennedy Hall here!

Im in a standard double. So excited! (Is this standard double in a suite with another double? not really sure)

Anyone have any pics of the general layout?

Kennedy is only for freshmen. It was originally for honors students, and then it shared honors with WVF. Now all honors freshmen are in IV. Because the honors kids were housed in half of the building and there is a sort of design difference between the two halfs, Kennedy has the joke of having ‘light’ and ‘dark’ sides, e.g. “I live in the light side of Kennedy”.

@neuchimie how do u know if you live in the light side or dark side? i heard one of the sides doesnt have an elevator?

Light side has an elevator. I forget how to tell if you’re on the light/dark though… so I can’t help you there. Life without an elevator isn’t too rough for one year, it’s pretty standard in a lot of the hemenway/symphony area buildings.

All the rooms are reasonably sized and it’s in a popular area for freshman/sophomores, Stetson dining halls and Marino center are about 5 minute walk.

Do Economy triples/doubles have a common room? ive heard both yes and no and i’m not sure which one to believe.
