kent school?? and reapplying

is anyone reapplying for next year? what are you're thoughts on it? will you apply to different schools, or the same ones?

Also, does anyone have any opinions on the Kent School? i kinda want to apply next year

Kent is awesome. I just got accepted for class of 2012. It has a nice campus with a rural setting. Strong athletics and academics. Do not apply to the same schools.

I got accepted to Kent and I'm seriously debating on if I should pick it over some of my other choices. The best parts about Kent:
-Great nurturing environment
-EXTREME CREW I mean on the level that you could go to Harvard, Yale, Princeton or Brown and be competitive your freshman year
-Amazing class options for such a small school; So many AP classes!
-Chill student body; One of the happiest that I encountered(Exeter seemed over worked, Andover seemed "morally beaten down by homework" and Hotchkiss was sort of rushed like everyone had so much work and stuff they had to study for(Which I sort of liked... But it seemed like a stressful place))

I spent the day with two kids that go to kent yesterday. I'll answer anything that you want.

My daughter is currently a 9th grader at Kent. The campus and town are beautiful. The teachers are very attentive and the courses are as rigorous as you want to make them. She finds that coursework is much more detailed and thorough than the course material at her former private day school (she still keeps in contact with friends). In a few short months, my daughter has matured and gained tons of self confidence. She has an excellent relationship with her adviser, who in turn, sends us updates frequently and answers any of our questions immediately. Kent has been an excellent choice for my daughter.

do you know what the horse program is like there? that's how i found the school, from a list of equestrian programs.

and what about finacial aid. i know it's smaller, so it won't give as much, esp. to international kids
