wanna major in business.
suggestions please

o yeah, challenging courseload with pretty much all honors and 2 aps (out of 7)

Indiana University-Bloomington
Purdue University
Michigan State

All three are top business schools, And I feel you have a really good chance at all of them.

Then a reach would be, University of Illinois Urbana-Champaign.

The rank is going to hurt you.
I don't exactly know if all those volunteering hours are going to help.
BC, babson, and holy cross would all be reaches.
Trinity may be a match I don't know. Try babson though... I live close to the college and its pretty nice, an excellent business school.

Are you wanting to go up east? Or stay in the midwest?

Holy Cross is a great school and has an excellent classics major. HC also has very strong national alumni network.

i wanna go up east...what are my chances at babson?

ok...and for another thing, my school's ranking system is majorly f***** up! They weight honors as only 1.2! Therefore, all the honors I have taken have barely given me a boast at all. Subsequently, all the retards who are getting a 4.0 bc of their study halls & home ec classes have a much better rank than me! errr...is there anything I can do?

anyone please help me!

It's not all about GPA. When they see you with your 3.0 taking the major core classes, making a B average. Then some kid with a 4.0 taking classes like study hall, and weight lifting, they will obvioulsy take you.

Obviously? are you sure about that? Why the northeast? You are definitely not Ivy League. (Does that sound insulting? It's not) Take a crack at the SAT. BC is a maybe because a 3.0 is bad. 27 out of a possible 36? I don't know anything about the ACT.

SAT scores?

I have friends in the NE (harvard, bc, etc.) thus boston is ideal. Taking the SAT in December..Anyone else?

Babon is a slight reach due to your rank. Also Babson wants people with strong EC's and yours are ok, but nothing that sticks out. It appears that your in a ton of clubs, but don't really hold any positions, or done any thing worth while for that club. But being that you have a 27 on the act, that's pretty good for that school. I'd say it's worth giving a look at. Also try Northeastern, that's a pretty good school, and you should get into that.

I'd reccomend that if you want to go to Babson that much, apply ED. If you don't get in try a school like Northeastern, or maybe St.Lawrence University.
