Kenyon and the Sciences?

I am a junior looking at colleges and after looking into Kenyon, I am really interested- but the only thing is I don't know about any of its other programs besides writing. Although I am interested in writing, I am AS interested if not more interested in the sciences: notably biology. Can anyone tell me anything about the other departments at kenyon, specifically bio and econ?

The bio dept has a large number of faculty and are one of the best on campus. The bio curriculum is currently in transition, chaging the intro sequence from 3 classes to 2 classes. The bip department is affiliated with the Neuroscience and Environmental Studies, both of which are also good. (I concentrate in Environmental Studies).

The econ dept is also really good, albeit smaller that bio. I am taking my second econ class right now, and I am very satisfied.

Pick anything you would want to do in any scientific or medical field...Kenyon's science programs can prepare you for that, especially if you take advantage of the wide variety of research opportunities.

All of the science departments are all strong. The chem department has a bunch of young, exciting professors that are very interested in offering research opportunities to students. The bio department is historically very strong and has a lot of great professors. Math and Physics were like their own little families.

If you're pre-med, Kenyon has around a 90% acceptance rate last i checked (which is quite good).
If you're thinking of going to grad school, you'll have no problem (to name a few programs: Stanford for Physical Chemistry, Duke for Math, Harvard for Astrophysics).
