@doonerak, I got the Honors scholarship too Congratulations to your daughter. @Palebluedot112, I’m sure it’ll come tomorrow! Don’t freak out too much

Oh I’m in a small town by Sacramento by the way to help everyone figure out when they’ll receive news

Got accepted yesterday in Charlotte, NC and received the Science Award ($20,000). Only really applied because the swim coach asked me to though, and won’t be attending, good luck everyone!

Waitlisted in Texas. Not sure if I want to stay on, though.

I’m thinking about going to Trinity University, though I’d have to take out some debt (about 15k by graduation [including tuition hikes.]) Kenyon might be cheaper, since they have a more comprehensive financial aid promise. Hm. What do ya’ll think?

Hippo, what part of Texas are you from? I’m in Dallas and haven’t gotten anything.

I live outside of Boston, and I got my envelope in the mail today. thumbs-up! So so happy.

I’m a little bit disappointed since I was fairly certain I was going to be accepted, but I think the fact that I didn’t visit or interview probably killed me. Good luck to everyone else!

Accepted here in VT, not sure if I’ll attend though, hoping to go to Wake Forest, if not I will see you all in Gambier!

… Not convinced any of that matters more than the subjective stuff for Kenyon, though. Worked very hard on the essays, etc.

I’m thrilled about the acceptance, but also combating acute college decision dilemma anxiety… or something. Point is, I’m not sure where I’m going to be off to. Also, I don’t much care for getting waitlisted. Beats a rejection and also makes my life a little more confusing. Fun!

Anyone attending either the 12-13 or 22-23 visit days?

^ my D will be at the 12-13 overnight program. She is very excited and also facing acute anxiety related to her decision. She has it down to 2! She is leaning heavily toward Kenyon. It not quite ready to send in the deposit . Good luck with your decision!! Maybe we will see you in April.

My D also is attending the 12-13 visit program and looking forward to it. Kenyon is very high on her list, but the April visits will be key. She’s doing an overnight at Carnegie Mellon earlier that week-talk about two different environments!

My S is attending the 22-23 event and (I think) looking forward to a visit without Mom!

my son is going this week (first visit) I have fingers crossed he finds it as amazing as it reads!

^ Elle, I sent you a message but not sure it went through. :)

Where else were you accepted/waitlisted/rejected (AKA evidence that this is a crap shoot):
Accepted Emory, Carleton, Colorado College, Hamilton, Kenyon, Dickinson, Centre, Allegheny, UofMichigan.
Waitlisted Middlebury, Wesleyan, Vassar, Davidson, WashU
Rejected Bowdoin, Pomona.

It is official! The envelope was mailed today and my daughter is definitely coming to Kenyon this August! Woot woot!

I am an international student. Planning to study engineering. How’s kenyon for me? Do i have chance if i give my SAT in December. When will i get the result of ED2 ??? Does this college provide full aid to international student on the basis of SAT score ??? Can nyone help???

Kenyon is a liberal arts college - no engineering. Also, it likes international students who pay their own way - doesn’t meet full need of international students.
