<p>Hey everyone, I’m from Ohio and I just got the news that I was accepted to Kenyon with an S. G. Nugent Award in Creative Writing! I guess now I know where I’ll be going in August:)</p>

<p>@perhapsthebirds - How were you notified? I just called the office of admissions and the person I spoke with mentioned they mailed the letters earlier this afternoon. Either way, congratulations! </p>
<p>WHAT. EARLIER THIS AFTERNOON??? My friend was told that they mailed them Tuesday.</p>
<p>I got a letter in the mail-- maybe they sent them to different regions at different times? I dunno.</p>

<p>Did you submit the writing award supplement with your application? Oh also, did you attend the Kenyon young writers workshop? Seriously congrats on the scholarship. </p>
<p>Thanks! And yeah, I attended the writers workshop last summer and submitted the supplement. I think the scholarship was only open to those who did.</p>
<p>They had to have gone out yesterday at the latest if someone already has a decision, I would assume.</p>
