kenyon college. is it possible?

<p>i've heard many great things about kenyon college and have become very interested in it lately. if you guys have any useful information regarding kenyon, please let me know. Other than that, i was wondering if you guys could tell me what my chances are. </p>

<p>I'm an indian male attending a competetive highschool in birmingham alabama</p>

<p>SATs- 2050
SATIIs- 680 bio, 740 math
i'm planning on retaking my SATs and bio SAT II. I'm also taking the ACT for the first time in about a month.</p>

<p>gpa- 3.6 uw
4.1 w
gpa should go up by end of this semester.</p>

<p>i'm ranked number one in a class of about 350.</p>

<p>in my school you can only take APs your junior and senior year.
Junior year- 3 APs and 1 honors class
Senior Year- 3 APs and 3 honors and one dual enrollemnt class
about 8 or 9 honor classes during freshman and sophmore year.</p>

<p>EC
- 6 year member of the math team. we're the number won math team in the country. we have one 13 out of the last 16 mu alpha theta conventions.
-parlimentarian of the math team
-comittee chairman of key club
-vice president of MARS club
-NHS
-SHS
-400 volunteer hours at science museum
-10 hours at local temple</p>

<p>i guess thats the important stuff.</p>

<p>Hey, I'm a junior at Kenyon, and would be happy to help you out along the way. Being a minority from the south will most likely help you, but you shouldn't bank on it getting you in. From your scores, ECs, etc it looks like Kenyon would be a good match. Kenyon really looks at essays and recommendations, so make sure you get started early!</p>

<p>If you want more information on Kenyon, I started a thread with a ton of info called "have any questions", and it's on the CC Kenyon page (CC top liberal arts colleges, Kenyon College). There are a ton of Kenyon students and parents that float around there and would be thrilled to help you out.</p>
