Kenyon College

Hi, I'm a junior at a regional high school of ~1,400 in Massachusetts
I was wondering if anyone would be willing to tell me what they think of my chances for getting in to Kenyon are? I'm out of state.

I have never gotten below a B, but my sophomore grades were mostly Bs because I missed about 3 months of school due to an illness. My teachers in math and science weren't sure that I would make it through the year without missing school, so they didn't recommend me for honors classes. I'm doing well now, and don't foresee missing any school. I have only missed 1 day this year.

What should I do to improve?

Thank you!!!

I will chance back anyone who wants!

My daughter was wait listed at Kenyon two years ago and she had a 3.8 UW/5.4 out of 5.0 w, 10 or so APs, Varsity swimmer four years AND NMF and she never made it off the wait list.

Show significant interest in the school and, with your stats, you should get in.

If you can show that you are interested by applying EA/ED then you have a good chance to get in. If you apply regular then a high match/low reach
chance

Wow gamergal, that seems a bit unexpected. Maybe they thought she was using as a backup? Do they like demonstrated interest and did she visit? So @izzieT, while you look to be viable, take that as a cautionary tale.

tyi, out of state doesn’t really matter for private colleges. The tuition is the same. The only way it is mattering is that they like to see some geographic diversity so if you are out of the area that can be a plus.
