<p>My daughter is a freshman at Kenyon; she is doing very well and loves it. She applied to eight schools, and honestly wasn’t sure which one was her favorite so she did her research and, over the course of four months, decided Kenyon was the place for her. I am proud that she took the initiative and did her own research, made inquiries on her own, learned from her alumni interview, etc. She chose Kenyon because she thought the students there were very smart and very interesting and unique. She also loved the fact that Kenyon was strong academically yet relatively unpretentious. I would urge you to do your own research and keep an open mind. Find the school that is best for you. And definitely visit! Kenyon is definitely not for everyone, but for many who attend, no other school will do.</p>
