Hello, I'm the vice-president of my school Key Club. It so happens to be that our president is one that is irresponsible and the slacking type. Agendas aren't provided, he doesn't show up to meetings, and is very inconsistent with doing work. I have been picking up on the slack as well as other officers by covering his role. If worse comes to worse, we would have to tell him to resign... What do you guys think?

So you've been discussing this with the rest of the officers right? Well, hmm... perhaps call an officers meeting and have everyone express their concerns. Then try to figure something out.

At out Key Club, we have a policy where if A) you don't show up to all but one meeting each month, or B) we have a motion and then a majority vote about disapproval on an officer, they are removed from office. It's what, October, and we've already kicked out out secretary because she was being lazy.

whats a "key club"

A club where people do community service.

The high school branch of Kiwanis. They even have conventions! Great for a group of friends to join together or a place to make new friends.

Take over as president.

good job my man! you’re almost me.

Way to bump a 5 year old thread. The OP isn’t even a member here anymore.

This is five years old? S/he isn’t a member?

Woah, I did not realize that.
Thanks for pointing it out!

Whew. I was beginning to think he was from our school.

We have the same problem. Except I don’t care about Key Club either.
