Me! Key Club actually does a lot at my school, and its opened up a lot of volunteering opportunities where I have been able to get volunteer hours for as well! The only thing thats annoying is despite how much I do for the club, the current president is picking these two other girls in my grade to lead the club when he graduates because they’re friends, but they don’t even do much for it!
No the current leaders just pick whoever they want to be the leaders for the next year so its kinda become a popularity thing and the teacher who’s like the adult that supervises it doesn’t really care and lets them do it however they want @The5458Captain
@KE3299 Huh, that’s interesting. But it’s good that you’ve done a lot for the club! You deserve an officer position, in my opinion

@KE3299 I love Key Club at our school! We’ve had a lot of volunteer opportunities as well, and they’ve been really fun! Unfortunately, I’m not able to go to all the events due to my busy schedule. But I recently got elected as vice president for next term!
Are you going to DCON?
@The5458Captain Congratulations! And no, despite how badly some of the students want to, the school won’t even consider letting us go. It doesn’t help that there is only a select group of kids committed to key club as it is and they don’t want other kids joining just for the trip. Is your school going?
@KE3299 Aww… that’s too bad. Maybe next year? And yes, but only about 5-10 members are going. I’m not going this year because I’m really busy right now, and I don’t want to miss school.
The fun thing about DCON at my school is that we treat it as something really big, so this year, since it’s in Anaheim, they’re planning a Disneyland trip as well.
@The5458Captain Yes I’m hoping we get to go next year! And what your school is doing sounds so fun! I wish my school would do things like that. The only fun things we do is the music department (orchestra, band, and chorus) gets to go on a trip every year, last year it was DC, this year they’re going to Disney world! But thats only for music, so I wish they would start doing that for other areas too- such as letting Key Club go to DCON!

@The5458Captain They’re actually this week. Our DCON is in late march, so that’s why ours is super early.
