Has anyone used Keystone, are they any good?

I have before. It was actually pretty nice. Although, they gave quite a bit of busywork that detracted from the actual course, but was more focused on research skills and etc. It’s a lot more hassle than at BYU.

I think busy work goes by class. Most of the classes I’ve taken have actually had relatively few assignments - notably US History, Environmental Science, and Calculus. Japanese I has a ridiculous number of assignments (think 20-30 for each of ten units, plus exams) and the English classes are a bit overdone. Otherwise, I’ve liked Keystone. It is really as challenging or easy as you make it.

So did you guys actually get credit for these courses?

^I think they send the credits to your counselor. I was thinking about doing this program as well:)

I have a question for the people who use this website. (I might post a thread but I feel asking here would be better) I am wanting to take a few classes through keystone as opposed to the florida virtual high school. I still have to talk about it with my mom, but what is it like taking the classes online? Do you have specific dates to go to the classroom and do the activities, or is it more self-paced? Also, how do you do the lab work? Do they just send you the supplies and you do it at your house? Does anyone know?
