<p>CHET Same here. I know I didn't finish filing after I saw financial aid. I knew it wasn't worth my time seeing how much info they wanted, so I never completed it. Obviously I got rejected but its strange that it took my applicaiton w/ out that info</p>
<p>D got the rejection email, too. Her State U is actually her third choice, but I "made" her apply anyway, just in case. Our "financial need" is probably what hurt us - we know we "need" it, but according to the FAFSA - we don't! But, she did get notified about being a finalist for the Best Buy scholarship, so that was great.</p>
<p>I got rejected, lol....
Anyways, I am not planning to go to a university/college in my state.</p>

<p>Sometimes it seems pretty random. You don't one and then you think you'll never get one. Then you get one or advance in a few and you think you're on a roll. Then you don't get one you think you should. It's a roller coaster.

<p>yeah, i got the semifinalist notification around 3 weeks or so ago...i turned in my information and they should be notifying the finalist before june...it would be sweeeet if i got it...</p>
