I still havent gotten anything! grrrrr

I was rejected. Boohoo. I didn't even fill out the FAFSA.

SO... if we haven't heard... is that a good sign?

i haven't heard from them too, dont really know if its a good sign, the thing i hate about this is that even if u are chosen as one of the semifinalists, u get happy for nothing, because u have to compete all over again

strange thing is i got an email a couple hours ago thanking me for applying, but i don't remember ever even appyling to this scholarship....

(didn't get it, but still..pretty strange)

haha double, i got the e-mail too, but I remeber I didn't finish the application.

yes!! i got that one too... i never ever applied and i got the e-mail thanking me for my application but telling me that i would not move on to further competition....weird... i was a little offended haha... i've learned to accept rejection.. but rejection from something u haven't even done? haha :)

that sucks, i think they got the whole thing messed up, i applied and i didn't even get any emails yet

yeah I got rejected too. I thought I actually had a shot. O well. If you haven't gotten the email yet, check your bulk mail, that's where it went in mine.

anyone not hear back yet?

check your Bulk mail if you havn't received one yet, fasweb scholarships are so competitive, its like nationwide, but competing within your school is already hard.

I received my confirmation a few days ago. It said, "Congratulations!" I'm surprised and at the same time grateful. How many do you think got into the semi-finals? I just sent in all of my materials. We'll see how I do in the semi's.

I just found out that only 400 people were selected into the Semi-Finals. How interesting...

WMF...how did you find that out???

Roberto...how do you know it is good for both types of schools? I am really confused as to what schools it can be used for.

It says in the RULES it's only for public schools.

I heard it on the net somewhere. I'm surprised. About 10,000 applied or something? I don't know. I want to know the total amount of applicants who applied, rather than the number of individuals who were chosen.

Celebrian25 - It can be used for private schools too. I believe they are making an exception.

WMF, what is your sat score?

Why should that matter in the selection process?

WMF...what makes you believe they are making an exception? I'm in the running and it could make a difference where I decide to go...panic mode right now trying to decide...
