<p>Congrats to the semi-finalists. Glad to see that there are some here! I have a question for all of you - do you believe that it is true that your EFC had to be 5000 or below for this one? Did any of you have an EFC above 5000? Anyway I will be rooting for you - this would be a good one to get! Congrats again…</p>

<p>My FAFSA gave me an EFC of approximately 6688, so it didn’t have to be below 5000.</p>
<p>Thanks for the replies on the EFC - I figured they would be helpful for future applicants just in case the under 5000 was accurate. So it looks like you can go over 5000 and still be considered. That is good to know. Again best of luck to all of you semis!</p>
<p>It would be nice to know these things about EFC up front. Most people on Walmart post had EFCs close to 0. It would be helpful if the company would state the max EFC in their
material & that would stop many from wasting their time.</p>

It make me very high on adrenaline. I was editing it and didn’t see the time until about 4:55… and I still had to run through a few pages!</p>
<p>I was rejected for this scholarship because my EFC was too high (>80,000). I saw this coming, so I wasn’t too surprised/disappointed.</p>

Each year, the program selects around 50 scholars from a pool of thousands of applicants. The exact number of scholars may depend on funding available from donor contributions. Selected scholars will be notified in May. Please let us know if you have any further questions.” </p>
