<p>haha diablo2fan and i should be PMing each other instead of posting... but basically, i we have a common friend (sorry diablo2fan for the initial confusion, i know another michelle from mission viejo)... and diablo2fan goes to el toro high school and since icarus is from orange county he/she has heard of it. and my roommate is from el toro lol. what a small world. </p>
<p>anyway, the SIR submission date is close! if you have any questions, keep the posts coming, or start your own threads! we want to make sure you make the right decision when it comes to college (although honestly, there's probably several right decisionS). </p>

I've called the admissions office six times in the past two days with no luck beyond the recording. I've sent them an email, but so far no response. Maybe you can answer re: SIRs.
When I talked to admissions earlier this month, there was a postmarked date of May 2 for the non-refundable deposit. Now, I understand not only can you fill out all SIR forms online, but that payment can also be made online by major credit card. Is that true?
With the clocking ticking, and being three time zones away, I can't be sure how long it'll take mail to get to UCLA. So, my questions:
1. Can the acceptance/deposit be done online, and what is the deadline?
2. Can the housing/deposit be done online, and what is the deadline?
3. Is the honors application deadline May 2, too?
My son is still mulling his options, with UCLA in the thick of the race.

<p>I'm not kfc obviously, but the answer to all three of your questions is yes, all can be sent in online. Deadline for all of them is either May 1 or 2(I can't remember which).</p>

<p>and to Tdad, shinseki is right - the answer to all of them is yes; the deadline is May 2 for all of them. However, the initial deposit for housing won't be due on the 2nd - if I remember correctly, I paid the deposit sometime in June.</p>

<p>I really dont want to be back. I have been looking at this site way too much over the last few days. I consider myself a CC addict who has kicked the habbit. I think I am falling off the wagon! I am trying not to post but it is becoming harder and harder to stay away. There should be a 12 step program for us CC posters. </p>
<p>Sorry I have not been there lately to defend the UCLA honor. UCLA doesnt need my defense anyway. It is one of the greatest institutions of higher learning in the world (i.e. well into the 98th percentile). I have come to the realization that many people on this site want to live in their own little world and say schools like UCLA is sub par or whatever. Good thing the real world recognizes the greatness of UCLA. Anyway, I would rather have everyone else in the world respect my school than 5 or 10 people on CC.</p>
