If you haven't heard of it, the website is Khan Academy

Salman Khan is a visionary and the work he has done is nothing short of incredible. I plan to use this ever-growing academic library of videos all throughout the rest of my high school and college career, as is the case with many students in my position. Perhaps the best thing about this is he doesn't sacrifice quality for quantity. I don't think this eliminates the need for a school environment, but it's close. Your thoughts?

this has been super helpful to me, when I was studying for a calc exam. I wouldn’t have gotten an A in the class without a couple of these videos- I’d fallen behind in class and they really helped me understand the concept completely.
Although, I found them through a youtube search!

I also really like them because as an auditory learner (I think), it really helps me to hear the lesson while I take notes. This was almost as good as sitting in class for me, and 10 times better than just reading from my textbook.

Been using his site for over a year. He’s helped me rebuild my math skills from the ground up. With his videos, going to class, and a lot of studying, I’ve gone from not remembering any algebra (I’ve been out of school for 10+ years), to Calc III - all in approximately 1 year.

His videos are great, but you still have to put in the class time and independent (homework) study time to be successful at higher level college math.

I’ve found his videos give you the basics, but sometimes don’t give you enough to help with the more difficult problems you may encounter (Calc II and beyond).
