Kicked me out of Berkeley?

I am a sophomore going into my second semester and currently it says that I am not registered on the Campus. I can't access infobears or telebears, yet I am in "good standing." Is this a technical error or did something happen? This is really freaking me out.

I haven't chosen a major yet, and I am a junior in units...does this have anything to do with it?

Check to see if you have any blocks on Bearfacts.

I don't have any registration blocks.

(I also haven't paid my registration fees; is that probably it?)

Bearfacts tells me to see my departmental adviser, which I technically don't have.

fees were due the 15th. Suggest you call campus accounts on tuesday morning

Well, I have been late with my fees before for a day or two and nothing like this happened.

What if I turn in the check tomorrow? (I have actually been abroad and didn't get the mail.) Of course it won't process for a couple of days...However, I could possibly talk to the registration office on Tuesday and see what they can do about it?

Also, I am registered for 21 units, but I need to drop 2 classes, and I can't access telebears.
If I don't attend those 2 classes' discussion sessions, they will drop me from the class, right? Are there any detrimental effects besides them dropping me? Will it show up on my transcript or anything?

No, it won't adversely affect your transcript. However, it can be a hassle.

Thank you for the replies.

The LS declaration of major policy guidelines says "You must declare a major before the beginning of your junior year, or the College may block your registration."

So this could very well be the reason you are being blocked.
