My girlfriend was going to take the test today with me but couldn’t find her current id in the morning so she took the one from last year and was not allowed to take the test is there any possible way that she could get a refund or at least change it to another date because its bs if no alternatives can be done and shes out $55
Please read SAT ID policies here:

The rules are the rules. They have really cracked down in recent years because of cheating. She is out of luck. Next time she should get her stuff together the day before.
Sadly, her money will not be refunded.
To be safe, I take a passport, 10 sharpened pencils, 2 calculators, a pencil sharpener, tons of snacks, and replacement batteries for the calculator. It sucks, but the SAT policies don’t seem to compromise much. Being prepared is essential.
The booklet said that the 2014-2015 year school ID was valid up until December of 2015! I am almost sure of that. Double check it with the website. Call College Board if it’s true. That’s ridiculous.
The admission ticket definitely said that IDs from 2014 - 15 are still valid. I actually used my junior year ID cause I couldn’t find my current one and on my last test I couldn’t find either and got in with my sophomore ID lol. Unfortunately, her test proctor wasn’t aware of the rules but if she read the admission ticket she could’ve proved the proctor wrong.
A school ID from 14-15, would be ok, I thought the ID was 13-14 from they way I read the post.
Any time there is an issue like this, the person in charge of all of the testing at the school, the one the proctors report to, should be contacted.
A single proctor screwing up at an AP exam last year resulted in 30 students getting their AP scores invalidated.
