I was kicked out of a tier 1 grad school (social science program) because my GPA barely fell below a 3.0 (due to working a full-time job while going to grad school full-time).

I want/need to re-apply straight way to another university (but for a part-time program), should I disclose to prospective universities that I attended a previous graduate program at another university or should I just not list it on my application. Would that be considering lying if I do not list it? I went to a tier 3 undergraduate school but I had a 3.8 GPA, amongst numerous honors, internships, etc. but my GRE was kind of low.

I currently work for the UN, which will most likely impress the admission committee, but I'm worried that when they see my 2.7 GPA from grad school # 1 they will reject me (I'm applying to other tier 1 schools).

The entrance essay is 500 words and I don't want to use that small amount of space to explain my situation, what should I do? Any thoughts? Should I just list my previous grad school experience or just stay mum?

Any thoughts will be sincerely appreciative!
