kids -- what would you want your parents to send you in a care package?

haha that’s probably why we’re always the one who are on at the same time
because usually, it’s only like three people commenting at once since it’s morning in the states and such and they have school :stuck_out_tongue:
saddd.
:)

I don’t know what NMH is doing this year because their applications were up by over 20%. The BSR number is dated and reflects the school’s first year after consolodation. I would definitely call.
Novelisto…I’m not talking about Blake, although I’m sure those are yummy, I don’t think they are homemade. Downstairs in Alumni, the school has it’s own bakery. All of the breads and desserts served with meals are made from scratch. They even use fruits from their own orchards, eggs and veggies from local farms, their own maple syrup…made right at the school, and ice cream made from cream from their own cows. The food is incredible.

Yes, I know. My d works in the kitchen for her work-job and I dareswear eats better there than here.

Mmmm…you guys are making me hungry! My mom makes the best banana bread and snickerdoodles. I would like to have those sent to me, on a monthly basis. :D

Okay, I must admit that I don’t have much constructive to add to this thread, but I have enjoyed reading about all the wonderful desserts that we could send to our students. So, just wanted to keep this fun thread going for a bit longer. Of course, come September, I will have to search for it again…

I do remember when I was in college that I loved when my mom sent me homemade chocolate chip cookies. She would send them in those round metal butter cookie containers. Also, she would send me hamentashen for the Jewish holiday of Purim.

Snickerdoodles…those are my favorites. I want to go to school so someone can send them to me. LOL
That and sugar cookies.

My son would have wanted Beer of the Month. My daughter (far from her Texas home) wanted Salsa.

MOWC–Beer of the Month?—what a riot!

I would like Whole Wheat Chocolate Chip Cookies. Can’t you tell we’re a healthy family?

Has anyone tried the vegan chocolate chip cookies from Whole Foods?
They are the most delicious things in the universe, oh my goodness!

i have! they are delicious!!!

My niece, who likes to watch the Food Channel, told me about these cookies:

[Levain Bakery](http://www.levainbakery.com/)

They are amazing! The bakery is located in NYC, but the cookies can be shipped (for a big fee.) Of course, if you have friends in NYC, they could hook you up. ;)

i also saw those cookies on food network!
they are huge and the ladies who made them ate them before marathons so that they had lots of calories and carbs to burn
lol

There is also one in the Hamptoms. I went in once, the air conditioning made it freezzzzzzzzzzzzinnnnngggggg! lol
The cookies were O.K, nothing special.

isnt it funny how everyone wants their parents to send them food?
lol
i know i do :)

ill probably be telling my dad to send me gum by the case since you can only buy single packs in the store

Proper Young Ladies Do Not Chew Gum!
Hahahaha, since when are you a gum chewer?
I don’t care much for care packages being sent to me. I want money to be deposited in my card. J/K

haha,
everyone knows that gum is like drugs at schools,
at least it is at my past school…
lol
i read it was a good way to make friends at school…
and i dont chew gum because i never have it because it was always given away at school or stolen by my brothers

i hated gum until i got braces. then i started liking it. ironic, huh…?

thats funny =)

you know,
it would be cool if my parents sent me movies or something,
even thought i would barely have time to watch them,
it would be fun to get new movies in the mail

bumppppppppppppp
