Thanks again, CC, for this new forum. My junior DD was diagnosed with OCD in middle school, but wasn't diagnosed with ADHD until the end of 9th grade. Her grades are erratic, although her school is very supportive, (she had extra time on tests and does not have to fill in the scantron bubbles on multiple choice tests).

She is very bright and tries to work very hard, but her organizational, time management and study skills are lacking--she will be taking an "executive function" type workshop later this summer, which we are VERY hopeful about.

I would be interested to hear from other parents with kids (or kids themselves) who have this combination of challenges--

There are a quite a few out of the 86 kids in my adhd/add/LD school...that also have ocd to some extent...We r very lucky to have the resources we have...Im not sure if theres one of these special types of schools In the SE But i would be more then helpful to look it up if financial aid is needed uR school district will pay for ur child to go(usually they will pay up to half) And or theres tons of kids on scholarships at these schools. I had bad grades except in GLobal in 9th grade but now i am at a special private school i would never go back. imma tenth grader and i went from having barely passing grades in math 70s in english and science and 80s in global and 80s and 90s in Electives..tO: 80s in ENglish Global Science(sometimes 90s) And Math. and ok grades in spanish but since my school sends in semester grades not quater grades for transcripts 2/4 quaters were good the other 2 were ok in spanish
