Kind of odd situation..many Q's about a gap year, reapplying, etc.

<p>I've been accepted into every school i applied to this year, and I'm looking to accept and defer admission at either usd or chapman.</p>

<p>I'm wondering what are the rules about applying to some reaches during my gap year? </p>

<p>Can I retake the SAT during my gap year and send in those scores?
That seems like cheating considering it would give me an extra year to study. </p>

<p>Any help would be really apprecaited!

<p>I don't think you can apply to another school if you accept a gap year. It would break the deferred year contract, and the deferred school might rescind the offer of acceptance, while the "reach" schools might automatically reject you because you're breaking a contract.</p>

<p>You can, however, turn down all offers of acceptance and apply again next year.</p>
