Does anyone know where I'm remembering this from? I remember reading somewhere (in something, not sure) about a young Black girl who used to tease others for being Black, and one day, upon realizing that she too was Black, began to cry. It might be a literary work, I'm just trying to allude to it in a college essay. Thanks.

nevermind, it was in a book I read- it might have been Sula, but I don't want to make an inaccurate reference

chappelle show, but instead of a girl it was an old black guy who eventually kiled himself upon the realization that he himself was black. Holla.
