okay the first time i took the sat i got a 710 in reading, 800 in maths, and 750 in writing. The second time i took it i got an 800 in reading, 620 in maths, and 800 in writing. I sent in my first scores before getting my second scores. So my question is, should i send in the second bunch of scores or not?

You may be jesting with your question, but I will answer it seriously. Definitely send the second set, as long as there is time before the application deadline. Your best score in each subject area will be used, so that should add up to a perfect score, which is pretty impressive. Congratulations.

Nice 2400, man

i wasnt jesting. thanks :-)

Well, you can fill in the best scores of all the sections on the application but you'll have to send in the scores of all the sets. Specifically, when you request a score report from the collegeboard for SAT, SAT II, w/e, all your scores from after your eighth grade are sent... so that means admissions will see all the times you have taken the test and how you did on it. But, since they only look at the best for each section, that's still a 2400. Congrats.

Yes resend them for sure. If you resend them then the college will count you as a 2400 and you will have a pretty good shot of getting in (unless of course your grades are terrible or you are a convicted fellon or something.

i'm just curious to know what happened with the math. your scores are amazing, though!

i think i might've skipped a question while filling out the grid, which would effectively mess up all the questions after it.

so Duke superscores on the SAT? What about the ACT?

Duke doesn't add up the best subscores on the ACT. I think relatively few schools do.

I'm soooooooo jealous! Congrats :)

thanks 10 char

Damn dude, now my 2210 looks like crap in comparison! YOU ARE MAKING ME LOOK BAD!

Seriously though, good job! =)

damn Mike...stop making my 2170 look bad, I'm so jealous! :P Or I would be if I wasn't already in pratt...:P So that goes to show that SATs prolly aren't gonna decide your future eh?

lol they really arent.

except a 2170 is still really good...

My 2110/1450 was the best that my school has seen since the new SAT came out...
