Do you think it's unneccesary to make a new e-mail address just for college apps? I have two working e-mail address atm, and they're both filled with junk mail that I never bothered clearing... (yeah, kinda bad, I know) But since I am applying online and some schools even send admit/reject/etc e-mails, is it okay to open a new e-mail address just for that purpose?

They don't track you through the e-mail address you used for collegeboard or anything like that...

if you're asking, should you create an appropriate e-mail address for college, that's a good thing. cause i did make a new e-mail address for college.

if you're asking if you should make a new e-mail address to just handle your junk that you get from signing up from sketchy on-line sites then i think it's also fine, as long as you dont trash that too

IMO when it comes to listing an e-mail for colleges, scholarships and jobs, it's a good idea to have a professional sounding e-mail such as yourfirstname.lastname@whateverservice instead of the silly/sexy/weird/difficult to remember e-mails that most people use for their friends and family. Use that particular e-mail only for things related to school and work.

heh i just used my regular ole email (uyulove@whatevanessfsdfs).. but then again i was going abandon it afterwards for gmail XP I say make a new one.. its going to help you organinze and stuff. XD
