Kinda a wierd question...

I'm attending the University of Chicago in the upcoming fall, and I was wondering:

Do they give scantron tests at the University of Chicago? And if they do, how often can I expect them?

No, there are no scantron tests here. -_-;;

Thank you. I only asked because I have a visual issue that makes it almost impossible for me to properly fill out a scantron sheet, and I needed to know if I should contact the students with disabilities services to apply for an alternative test format.

Hmmm, the math placement test in the fall ‘might’ have been. I remember it being multiple choice. I feel like we had a bubble sheet of sorts (though I believe the tests were then graded by hand). I would let them know, so they are aware. You definitely won’t have to worry about it on a regular basis… I had a teacher in high school who made us fill out bubble sheets to her multiple choice questions. You just never know…

I would get that cleared in advance. At some point some prof will want you to bubble something, and it is best to have that in your student record. It is also good to have a document trail for when graduate school tests come around, since it will be easy to verify your disability with various testing bodies (LSAT, MCAT, whatever).
