<p>This is kinda weird, but I wanted to know: can you use your name in a college essay? or more specifically in a supplement? Basically the context is: "My name _____ means ____", which supports the main point of the essay.</p>
<p>Of course! I’ve seen college essays (in essay books, of course) all about people’s names and stuff about what it means and all. So yeah, go for it!</p>
<p>There’s really very little you CAN’T do in a college essay. I know someone who wrote her Brown supplement essay and included pictures in the word document (for example, she somehow mentioned a toaster (?) and included a picture of a random toaster she found on Google) and basically illustrated the whole thing and she got in.</p>
