Kindaaa a repeat, but not really.

Alright so my question kinda combines several threads together, so if you dont' want to answer that's perfectly alright.

Is there anyone you know that had great academics but a lower (but not nessarily bad) standardized testing score... (like an ACT of 30-31) who got excepted into a great school (not necessarily Ivy)? Or a better question is... haha is it possible? Thanks in advance.

what would a 30-31 ACT translate into for the new SAT? then i'll let you know if i can answer your question.

hmm.. I read somewhere that the ACT/SAT conversion charts aren't very accurate because their totally different test. But I think colleges consider a 30-31 about a 2100/2400 on the new SAT. Please anyone correct me if I'm wrong.

*tests (10 char)

well i dunno if this helps, i got a bit above 2100 but nowhere near 2400 and got into 2 ivies along with some other schools that i would consider great. my academics were my main strength, definitely. if you want more info, you can pm me.

yeah i agree with goldenbear. I think 30-31 is 2100.. b/c that's what I got.

Yeah I hope so. Or else I'm screwed

haha good! because after I achieve that goal, I am THROUGH with standardized testing. It can go die haha.
