Kinder chocolate surprise egg from Rutgers admissions office, what does it mean?

Hello, I just received this letter from Rutgers University admissions office. I have sent my sat scores with a rush report which suppost to arrive in 2 buinsess days. 1 Buisness day after I sent my sat scores I received this email. Does it mean that they already received my scores? But the application status still shows them as missing. Please help. Thanks

The letter is bellow

Haha, when I saw the title of this thread, I got really confused and actually thought they sent you a Kinder chocolate surprise egg (and was even more confused because I thought those were banned in the US)!

Anyways, yes, there’s a chance that they did receive your scores within a day. Collegeboard isn’t always consistent. I just sent my scores without rush and my colleges still got them within 2-3 days or so, therefore I’m not surprised that your scores were sent within a day. The email indicates that they did receive a score, so I don’t think you should worry.

Also, when it comes to the tracking documents thing, don’t worry (at least not right now). It isn’t always up to date. I’m assuming that since we just got back from thanksgiving break, stuff wasn’t really updated, so they’ll probably update your status soon. You may want to call or email if it doesn’t show up within a few days or a week, though. Good luck!

Aww, came in this thread expecting Rutgers to be the absolute most creative admissions office ever.
Disappointed :)

LOL…I too was thinking, “an admissions office that sends out chocolate to verify that all materials have arrived? Now that’s the college of my dreams!”

Haha yes I made this title specially to attract attention. Thanks for your help guys!
