Kindertransport & Stripped

Mikksmom,

Heard great things about the show. S had been to see it and said it was incredible. He said that after seeing it he’s just about decided to try out for some of the theater shows as well as the MT stuff next semester. I’m glad; I think he probably needs to be doing more of that just to keep his hand in.

Saw your D last night at “See what I wanna See.” Don’t know if she recognized us or not. We didn’t get to speak. We managed to get there early enoguh Sat that we got to see it both nights. I think the first night was the better of the two. Was very impressed with what they managed to put together in such a short period. S had a blast with it.

I continue to be amazed at the overall number of productions going on there. Le Villi just a couple of weeks ago; Hotel Casablanca and Little Women before that; Stripped and Kindertransport this week. The Christmas show in rehearsals now. There is just a huge variety of opportunity to get engaged in.

Agreed- Now I cant wait for her to be home tomorrow!! YAY!

S just called and said he had choir and wouldn't be able to get away before 4-4:30. He'll be driving and we're not thrilled with the prospects of 8+ hours at night. May well ask him to overnight at the 6 hour mark and make the last leg first thing Wed. that's the breaks I guess

Yeah, my D has a class until about 4 p.m. so it will be 8 or 9 before she gets home, if she doesn't hit any traffic. At least her roommate is coming with her so she won't be traveling alone. It will be nice to have a full nest for a few days! Happy Thanksgiving to everyone.

Finally home! Three hours late but home! We sprung her early and I am glad we did!!!! What a nightmare with weather!
