kindle?!

is a kindle cost effective?

and for those of you who're using a kindle, can you share some pros & cons of having it?

i was actually wondering can you get most of your textbooks on one?

What is a kindle exactly and how does it work?

bgirlforever, I had a kindle for my first year in college and didn’t find it to be really helpful for storing textbooks. First of all, you need to make sure that you can find your textbook in .pdf or a format where the kindle can read it. Not all textbooks are available in digital format. I could only find 2 of mine in .pdf and it was tough to read on the kindle (doesn’t zoom in on .pdfs well). I ended up just printing out the book by chapter whenever I needed it.

so if you can get your textbooks in digital format, you’ll probably save tons of money but it won’t really be easier to read on kindle.
