kindof a transfer issue. please help me

Backstory: I am a college sophomore now, and I transferred to a new school. I am a biology major. I really want to end up in pharmacy school in the near future, but I'm wondering if it's best for me to apply for fall 2007, or fall 2008.

(SKIP TO THE BOTTOM IF YOU WANT THE SHORT VERSION)

even though i'd prefer you to read the entire thing.

I got pretty much mediocre grades my first year of school, due to a hard time adjusting, and bad studying skills that I had managed to get amazing grades with in high school. Now that I've transferred and am about to start a new year, I'm ready to buckle down and really do well. I was planning on applying to pharmacy schools, and taking the PCAT in January '07.

However, due to my new school having a weird way of accepting AP credits, I may have to take general biology this year (even though i got a 5 on the AP), instead of Anatomy&physiology, which I had planned to take now. Also, The physics class was too full for fall, so I'll have to take it in the spring. Most pharmacy schools expect for applicants to have taken anatomy/physiology as well as physics before they apply.

I am attempting to talk to someone and have my biology AP replace my biology class, and get into the full physics class. I want to take them in the fall so I have grades to show or those classes when I apply for pharmacy in the spring. Is this a good idea? I am also taking orgo this semester, so if i do end up taking anat and physics too this fall, it would be a very tough schedule.

(CLIFFNOTES VERSION):

Should I take anatomy&physiology and physics in the fall and attempt to apply to pharm school in the spring (for fall 2007), or should I keep my schedule as it is, and stay an extra year at my school to take more prereqs, and then apply in winter'07/spring '08 for the fall '08 semester? please help me

I think you'd be better off asking this on a PCAT board/pharm school forum because I really have no idea :/ sorry.

or try talking to a counselor at your school

bump?.........
