Why does king’s college say rolling admissions on common app. I’m a prospective undergraduate student and want to apply to cs, physics, or mechanical schools< Any one of them. Can some one explain the requirements and other information about applying through common app. 
And can someone also explain about the deadlines etc for certain departments. It is rolling on common app.Should I apply?

…and do some homework about the exact course you want to apply to. Seems unlikely that you would be equally happy doing all three courses (also, King’s doesn’t really have a mechanical engineering course - though there is a CS with Robotics or Intelligent Systems course)
For example, if you did CS in year one you would take:
Programming Practice and Applications
Computer Systems I
Foundations of Computing I
Data Structures
Database Systems
Either Logic Design or Introduction to Software Engineering
Either Elementary Logic with Application or Mathematical Methods in Physics I
On the other hand, if you did physics, in year one you would take:
Laboratory Physics I
Physics Skills
Mathematical Methods in Physics I
Classical Mechanics
Thermal Physics
Fields & Waves
Matter
