Hello all!

I am an American student who graduated college last May with a degree in history. I have been working since then and have been preparing for grad schools. I was just recently encouraged to check out grad school programs abroad.

I am focusing on programs in London, specifically. I want to focus on International Relations, Politics, or Society/Culture grad programs. At the top of my list is Kings College London. I know that Kings is a very selective school in the UK and I was just wondering what the acceptance rate might be for an American postgrad student?

My GPA from undergraduate is not stellar(3.2), but my resume is quite strong. I worked in higher education for about 3 years and have been working in London for about a year in international higher education. Even though I know higher education is not what I want to do, I kind of fell into it, and that has just been my focus for a while. I also have law firm experience. Will my resume help?

I have heard a lot about undergraduate admissions to UK schools and acceptance into Kings for computer science or technology, but not much for social science programs.

Any helpful tips, hints, comments, or suggestions?
