Anyone know any specifics about the differences between these schools? They're both quite good for my academic needs, but I'm wondering if there's anything to know that the schools won't tell you themselves, like location, quality of housing, etc.

Thanks!

I’m sure there was a thread on this a month or two ago.

Kings has the better reputation (QMUL is still pretty good) and is more central, its campuses being mainly by the river. Queen Mary is in East London. I really dont know much about their accommodation but as they’re both University of London they share some intercollegiate halls of residence as well having their own.

Thanks, I saw that thread now.

I’ve noticed QM mentions their modern facilities a lot. That doesn’t mean that King’s is a bit outdated though, does it?

No it doesn’t mean that.

Ooo, found some great virtual tours on their site: [King’s College London : About : Virtual Tour : King’s Accommodation](http://www.kcl.ac.uk/virtualtour/accommodation.html)
