Kiplinger Report indicates that the average cost at GU after Non-need based aid is about $23,000 and the percentage receiving non-need based aid is "N/A". I thought GU did not offer non-need based aid. Anyone can clarify? Thanks!

Generally speaking, GU doesn't give non-need based aid. There are a few exceptions however. At the very lowest end of the financial aid spectrum (maybe a dozen or two kids a year), there are a few scholarships that take need, as well as merit, into account. Additionally a few departments (Arabic and Nursing come to mind) give their own scholarships. But really, unless you fall into these rare exceptions, you should not expect merit aid from georgetown. That being said, the need-based aid is pretty good (albeit not exceptional).

I can't speak to the specifics of the Kiplinger Report. The only thing I can think of is if they take things into account which don't necessarily have any qualification, need or merit, (i.e. PLUS loans) into account.
