President and founder of an anti-genocide chapter of STAND, which is a national student run organization.

our class rank is kind of weird. according to my school im like 50/660 but the rank doesn’t take into account weighted GPA. since i’m ELC i should be between 1-25 out of 660.

I dont really have any particular school I really want to go to. I’d say Berkeley, UCLA, USC, and Texas are my top choices, considering that I dont get into Cornell.

Since you’re a resident, in at all California schools. UT-Austin is a reach because you’re OOS and Cornell is obviously a reach since it’s an ivy

If you don’t mind, I will chance for UC’s because I attend UC B and most of my knowledge is in the UC system.

For starters, my GPA/SAT was almost identical to yours when I was applying. I now attend Berkeley.

Your EC’s are good but lack originality for the most part EXCEPT for STAND. UCB is a HUGE college participator for anti-genocide, in particular STAND. So I think that will really benefit your application and show that you are socially fit for this environment.

Now, for the most part UC’s look for students with a 4.2 and 2150. But it’s not like there is a computer where you plug in the numbers and it spits out a list of names that don’t fit. I got in with a strong essay and work experience in my majors field.

I’m taking the ACT this weekend. Will it increase my chances at Cornell, UC B, UCLA, and Stanford if i get a 35 or 36? I took my first ever practice test and got a 34-35.
