Can someone tell me exactly what the KLLC actually is? and is it its own seperate dorm or is it attached to one of the mcnutt buildings? I'm trying to decide if I should put it down as a prefrence on the housing contract. Lastly can you change your decision on the housing contract after it is sent and possible take it off as a preference?

Thanks

Well, I do know that you can still change your preferences after you submit your contract.

I’m living in the KLLC next year so I don’t have first hand knowledge of it but I can tell you for sure that it is in McNutt so it is not a separate dorm.

Also, I guess they strive for geographic and gender equality, so it is harder for male from Indiana to get in than a female from Mississippi. By harder I mean you have to apply earlier.

Thanks hkem.

I’m also a male from indiana and just applied a couple days ago so hopefully it’s not to late. I want to be in it even though I’m not that sure on how it is different from living in another area of mcnutt

does anyone know how long it takes to hear back if you got into the KLLC after you have submitted your contract?

It takes them two weeks to send you a letter “approving” (or potentially not approving you) you. This means that you are approved to live in the KLLC but not guaranteed because of geographic and gender balance they seek to achieve.

Does anyone not get approved for the KLLC? I appreciate them doing this whole geographic/gender balance thing because I think it will improve the experience, but I don’t quite see the need for these letters telling us “you might be in, but you might not”.

I don’t know we will see for me because i just put 1 sentence for each question. For the last question what you are passionate about i didn’t even answer it because i don’t really have any issue im passionate about
