<p>My friend got in with a relatively low gpa, i think 3.5 or 3.6 UC gpa.</p>
<p>SAT was like 1700, she applied for either undeclared or english.</p>
<p>lol my SAT scores were low…like 1590.</p>

<p>it happens, but it’s not at all common. If 1000 people with a lowish gpa and SAT score applied, 50-100 would probably be admitted. Plus, it’s probably going to be more competitive next year due to the budget.</p>

I got into ICS/Engineering with a 1810 SAT lol</p>
<p>I got in with a 1440 SAT but a 4.3 GPA. So it all depends haha. my major was environmental engineering, but I plan to switch it to Civil or computer science. I was lucky I guess but I had a really good essay and lots of ECs</p>
