Know of any Summer Online 16A Mathematics Courses?

Hi,

I'm a Berk undergrad wanting to take a 16A transferable online math course. I'm not the strongest at math, so I want to get it done over the summer while I have more time.

Do you know of any?

Sources I have tried:
CA Virtual Campus
Coastline CC (filled up)
UC Berkeley Extension (only offers 1A level online)
Local CC

Your advice/recommendations are greatly appreciated.

careful of CC on the quarter system - a class during one quarter, e.g. summer, is generally not equivalent to a one semester course. Often, it is set up so that a one year sequence at cal, something like Bio 1A + Bio 1B requires three Bio courses at the CC, which might be numbered something like Bio 7A, Bio 7B and Bio 7C

Depends on what assist.org lists as equivalent to Math 16A for the school in question

Just so you know, the course that Extension is teaching titled X1A would not transfer onto campus. Only Extension courses that have XB in their number transfer on to campus.

Thanks, that is good to know! I asked my Major advisor, and he said it would work, but maybe he wasn’t too familiar with extension.

It is the math department that determines whether a class is accepted for credit and treated as equivalent to the math courses here, not your potential major department, thus it is always best to check with someone there to verify whether this online class will be treated as satisfying pre-reqs.
