Know what I want to be, don't know what to major in.

I’m a current high schooler and have finally realized that I want to become a forensic scientist. And though this might be because of how interesting forensic scientists are portrayed on tv and in movies, I do have some actual experience due to Science Olympiad (one of the events is Forensics).

However, I have absolutely no idea what I want to major in. I’m aware a forensic science degree does exist in some universities, but I’m not looking to major in that. I’ve done a bit of research and found that a BS in any of the natural sciences should be fine as well.

I suppose what I’m asking is, what major do you all think would be the best fit for an aspiring forensic scientist (please don’t tell me to choose whichever science I enjoy the most, I’m impartial to all the sciences)? Which ones should I stray away from?

Thank you all in advance.

Chemistry.
But why not forensics, forensic science, or forensic chemistry?

Also, there is forensics as it applies to digital or cyber crime. As such there are more and more schools with majors in cybersecurity. Schools like Purdue and UIUC are at the top of you wanted cybersecurity directly, or most good CS schools would have a path towards cybersecurity.
