Knox College 2013

Everyone's starting to get accepted at Knox! I got accepted a week and a half ago :). Where is everyone from? Do you think you'll end up going to Knox? Why Knox??

...for example, I'm from an island off the coast of Seattle, Washington. I applied to Knox because of it's creative writing program. I haven't heard back from a few other schools yet, so I don't know all my options, but the scholarship Knox gave me is looking pretty good!

DD2 from Ohio received her acceptance with nice scholarship. She is waiting to see how everything comes out from her other apps. She intends to major in Math.

Cincinnati, OH here (obviously). Got my acceptance on Friday (after my ACT scores finally showed up...). I'm still considering going to a more engineering focused school (e.g. Case, Rose-Hulman) rather than indulging my liberal arts-y side and going somewhere like Knox. In the end, the scholarship might be the deciding factor. Going to grad school would be significantly easier without tons of debt hanging over me.

S accepted to Knox today. First acceptance of all applied to, so a big relief.

$12,000 Merit Award.

3.7 31 770/670/680

Got my letter today! 14k in scholarships from Muelder and Theater. Also got into UChicago and waiting to hear from Swat and NYU.

I got my acceptance letter around the 22nd, with the Muelder Scholarship. I'm from Minnesota. Not too sure if I'm coming to Knox, but definitely one of my top 5, especially with the nice scholarship money that comes along with it. ;P

I got an acceptance mail on the 22nd :)
I am from India and got a brilliant scholarship... any other internationals who have been admitted?

I got in, my top choices are grinnell or bowdoin but Knox is definietly top 3 or 4. $8000 merit scholarship and $3500 music scholarship

My S got in, and Knox is one of his top choices. Our state school (UW in Seattle) is great, but he wants something smaller. He's applied to the honors program at UW, but if that doesn't work out, and maybe even if it does, he'll look closely at his smaller-school choices. The scholarship from Knox makes it financially not a huge amount more than UW, so I like it, too :-)

I'm applying to the UW too! it is a great school, but so big...someone told me that they were able to spend less money going to knox than UW (someone from in state) which is nice :)

I got in EA in November and I was lucky enough to get a creative writing scholarship, a social justice scholarship, and the Lincoln Scholarship, which is making Knox incredibly affordable. I know a bunch of friends who graduated last year who are at Knox right now, unfortunately I haven't really had a chance to talk to them about how it's going. I'm also applying to Earlham, Grinnell, and New College of Florida.

Basically, I like Knox because my academic interests are so diverse I really will need the "freedom to explore." :p Also, the creative writing program looks phenomenal!
