<p>Anyone else receive this scholarship in the mail from Mass. Dept. of Education? Had never heard of it before -- it's basically same award as Adams Scholarship -- free tuition, NOT FREE FEES!!! It's the darned fees that are the killer, not the measly $1,700 tuition per year! Oh well, these days every little bit helps, right?</p>

<p>Was just wondering if anyone else had received this? Also, would it be correct to assume that S will get in since he received this scholarship?</p>

<p>I got this scholarship too. It's essentially the same as the Adams scholarship, I believe. (Except I think the requirements were slightly different... something like getting 2 "Advanced"s on MCAS rather than "Advanced" and "Proficient") And yeah, I'd say he's in. There are so many kids that I know that get in without nearly the same qualifications.</p>
