Hey guys,
I've applied for the undergrad business major at Korea and Yonsei and got into both. I want to work in Korea afterwards and get an overseas MBA in the US. I've heard that both are prestigious and quality schools and their business program is pretty much on par. Concerning the academics, atmosphere, campus, social life, and business major, which university do you think is a better fit?

I believe Yonsei is more preppy in atmosphere. Also Yonsei has slightly better prestige (the difference is negligible though). I’m just speaking on stereotypes though.

Hey! If you don’t mind me asking what was your SAT score? And if I were you I would have chosen Yonsei.

I believe Yonsei has a better business/management program than Korea. They are pretty much equal in terms of prestige but Yonsei has the edge. In terms of environment, I would say that Yonsei’s is similar to that of Yale while Korea’s is similar to Brown’s (more chill-ish)

Haha. It’s over, going to Korea U.

hey what made u decide to go? i’m in the same dilemma and can’t decide…

I live in Korea and I think Yonsei definitely has a little more prestige factor. As well as having a little more central location in terms of nightlife and whatnot…

I have also heard that Yonsei students have a work-hard play-hard culture where as SNU (I know you’re asking about Korea U but haven’t heard as much) has less of a “playing” culture.

SNU - the best in Seoul;
Korea U - the best in Korea;
Yonsei U - the best among the aged.
